Description :

Purchase of 15 sewing machines, 2 overlock machines, 2 knitting machines, 13,000 yards of fabric, velcro, biais strips, sewing accessories as well as a blackboard for theory courses. This project is located in a room adjacent to the Mambongo primary school and courses are given by Ms. Alphonsine Kasuma, specialist in cutting and sewing.

Goals :

• Provide an opportunity for women and girls to learn a trade that will allow them to take charge of themselves by earning a little money and thus contribute to the development of the community.
• Supplying the population with a sewing workshop for repairing and making clothes at a reasonable price.
• Promote job creation among women with this collective project.
