Description :

Purchase of a generator for Kivuvu Hospital serving a population of approximately 10,000 people. Emergency operations are currently done in the evening or at night with the help of candles or flashlights. It is therefore imperative to have access to electricity for the patients’ security as well as the comfort of the physicians.

Goals :

• Reduce the risk of death in case of emergency surgery
• Allow adequate sterilization of surgical instruments
• Facilitate diagnostics using medical devices functioning with electricity such as X-rays, ultrasound, etc …
